In her work, Caitlin Haynes is more than just a “craftswoman,” she is an artist. With an undergraduate degree from Stonehill College and a graduate degree in Special Education from Bridgewater State College, Caitlin previously worked in the Hingham Public Schools as a teacher in a preschool inclusion classroom. It is in this capacity that she first discovered her love of children and all the joy and wonder that they personify.
After the birth of her first son, Caitlin found herself taken with following him around and trying to capture his every move and moment on camera. She began taking classes in photography and quickly mastered the technical aspects of photography. Utilizing her background in special education and her patience as a mother of three, Caitlin’s hands, head, and heart all currently work together creating photos of children and families that capture the uniqueness that we all carry within ourselves.
Caitlin Haynes resides in Easton, MA with her husband and three children.
